ABALINK-UVIRTOS™
ULTRA VIOLET, INFRA RED TROMMEL OVEN SYSTEM
Designed, built and successfully installed worldwide over the last thirty (30) years by our Chief Engineer, ABALINK-UVIRTOS™ Ultra Violet, Infra Red Trommel Oven Systems have been faithfully working away on their appointed tasks which vary from:
- Polishing Hundreds & Thousands;
- Toasting and flavouring Twisties & Cheezel type extruded
snackfoods;
- Sterilising Sausage Fillers;
- Conditioning Grain into and out of various Cereal Processes,
Stockfeeds, Malting Barley and Wheat;
- De-activation of Enzymes in wheat, rice, corn flour, lupins and soya
beans;
- Irradiating Pharmaceuticals and Baby Food ingredients;
- Processing Spices, Herbs, Sugar and Salt immediately prior to sterile
packaging;
- Fruit & Vegetable Pomace By-Products;
- Dehydrated Food Finishing, Mixing and Cooling;
- Toasting Oats, Wheat, Corn, Rice, Lupins and Faba Beans;
- Continuous automatic panning and coating;
- Cocoa and Coconut processing;
- Roasting of Flakes and components of Cereals employed in a wide range
of foods, optional Flaking Rolls;
- Finishing, flavouring and coating of Potato Crisps; Extruded Snacks,
and Cereals with heat sensitive components;
- Dry Roasting of Peanuts, Almonds, Cashews and Macadamia Nuts in Top
Oven Trommel, followed by low percentage oil and flavouring mixing in the
Bottom Mixing Trommel;
- Sterilisation, mixing, evaporating and coating Dried Fruits prior to
packaging; Dried Fruits.
ABALINK-UVIRTOS™ units can be designed and programmed to accurately, automatically and continuously bake, roast, toast, sterilise, flavour, mix and cool a wide range of products such as Coffee Beans which are cooled effectively and immediately after roasting in the Top Trommel.
The ABALINK-UVIRTOS™ Trommel Barrels and Chutes are made from 316 Stainless Steel and come in a range of capacities from 500 Kg to 5000 Kg per Hour with a 50 to 100 Kg per Hour R&D Precision Test Model.
